From March 27–30, healthcare providers from across the country will gather in South Florida for an educational experience designed to deepen clinical understanding around bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and patient-centered care.
The second annual Symposium at Sea, hosted by BHRT Training Academy, will depart from South Florida and bring together physicians, clinicians, and healthcare thought leaders for several days of immersive education focused on hormone health, clinical decision-making, and improving outcomes for patients.
While the event takes place on the water, its purpose is firmly grounded in education.
Advancing BHRT Education for Providers
BHRT Training Academy was founded by Donna White, author of Hormone Makeover, to address a growing gap in medical education. As more patients seek support for hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause, many providers report limited formal training on how to assess symptoms, interpret lab data, and apply hormone therapy safely and effectively.
The Academy focuses on equipping providers with the knowledge and clinical confidence to treat the whole patient, not just isolated lab values. Its programs emphasize critical thinking, patient communication, and understanding how hormones influence multiple systems in the body.
To date, BHRT Training Academy has educated nearly 3,000 physicians and providers nationwide, supported by a multidisciplinary team of medical advisors spanning multiple specialties.
What Sets Symposium at Sea Apart
Symposium at Sea was created as an alternative to traditional conference formats. Rather than packed schedules and brief lectures, the event is intentionally designed to encourage deeper engagement, extended discussion, and meaningful collaboration among attendees and faculty.
This year’s symposium will feature thought-leaders and educators discussing important BHRT-related best practices.
The setting allows for case-based learning and real-world conversation, giving providers time and space to explore challenges they face in daily practice.

Why This Conversation Matters
Hormonal health plays a significant role in quality of life, cognitive clarity, energy levels, sleep, and long-term wellness for millions of women and men. As demand for BHRT continues to grow, education has become essential to ensure care is informed, ethical, and outcomes-driven.
By focusing on provider education rather than consumer trends, BHRT Training Academy has positioned itself as a trusted resource for clinicians seeking to expand their expertise responsibly.

A South Florida Departure with National Reach
With the Royal Caribbean cruise ship departing from Miami March 27–30, The Symposium at Sea brings national attention to an evolving area of healthcare that affects patients in every community.
As the event enters its second year, it underscores a simple but powerful idea: better education leads to better care — and meaningful learning often happens when providers step away from routine practice and focus on the bigger picture.
