South Florida’s late-summer event calendar gets a major highlight as Monster Jam® arrives at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, 2026. Two days of stadium-scale motorsports bring together world-class drivers, custom-built trucks, and a format built around speed, control, and freestyle performance.
What to Expect
Monster Jam is structured around three competitive segments:
- Racing – head-to-head brackets on a technical dirt course
- 2 Wheel Skills – balance and precision on two wheels
- Freestyle – open runs where drivers combine jumps, tricks, and saves
Each truck weighs around 12,000 pounds and is engineered for vertical moves, big air, and rapid recovery after hard landings. The event is scored in real time, with fans contributing to the final results.
Pit Party Access (Both Days)
Before each show, the Monster Jam Pit Party® opens to ticket holders with an added Pit Party pass. This is the only part of the day where fans can:
- Get close to the trucks on the arena floor
- Meet drivers and collect autographs
- Take photos and see how the vehicles are built

Why It Draws Crowds
The format doesn’t rely on scripted outcomes. Runs are judged live, conditions change quickly, and drivers adapt mid-performance. That unpredictability is what keeps the audience engaged from the first race to the final freestyle round.
For families, it’s a full-day plan: early entry through the Pit Party, afternoon or evening show, and enough interaction to keep younger attendees involved beyond just watching from the stands.
